DailyLine Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of DailyLine ("the app"). By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.
1. Service description
- The app may provide personal journaling, mood tracking, photo attachments, reminders, backup, export, and premium features.
- Features and screens may change over time based on updates, operating policies, or third-party service conditions.
2. Eligibility and acceptance
- You must be legally permitted to use the app under the laws that apply to you.
- If local law requires parental or guardian consent for your age group, you must use the app under that supervision and responsibility.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the content you write or upload and for ensuring that you have the right to use it.
- You must not store or share content that infringes the rights of others or violates applicable law.
- You are responsible for keeping your own backups of important records and for managing device security and account access appropriately.
4. Prohibited use
- Using the app for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
- Attempting to bypass or interfere with app security, advertising, payment, or backup features
- Interfering with service operations or causing harm to other users or third parties
- Copying, modifying, or reverse engineering the app beyond what applicable law permits
5. Premium features, billing, and refunds
- Premium purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Pricing, subscription availability, and included features may change based on store policies or app updates.
- Cancellations and refunds are handled according to the policies and procedures of the relevant store.
6. Medical and mental health notice
- The app is a wellbeing and journaling tool and does not provide medical care or mental health treatment.
- Quotes, statistics, prompts, and badge descriptions in the app are general information only and do not replace professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, contact local emergency services, a crisis hotline, or a qualified professional right away.
7. Service availability and third-party services
- The app may rely on third-party services such as Firebase, AdMob, iCloud, Google Drive, the App Store, and Google Play.
- Some features may be unavailable for a period of time because of third-party outages, policy changes, network conditions, or operating-system limitations.
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service when needed.
8. User content and data
- Rights and responsibility for journal content remain with you.
- The app stores records on your device by default and provides cloud backup only when you choose to enable it.
- Data loss cannot be completely prevented, so you should keep separate backups of important material.
- The Privacy Policy separately explains how personal information may be processed.
9. Limitation of liability
- The app is provided on an "as is" basis to the extent permitted by law.
- We are not liable for indirect damages resulting from service interruption, third-party failures, data loss, or unmet expectations about app results.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence where required.
10. Changes and termination
- These Terms may be updated when the service changes, new features are added, or legal requirements change.
- Material changes may be announced through an in-app notice, an app update, or a revised document.
- Continued use of the app after a change may be treated as acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law and contact
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, except to the extent mandatory consumer protection law in your place of residence applies.
